BOAT REGISTRATIONS:
Boats are renewed every three years. Any Vessel that is 17 ft in length or longer and/or carries a lien will need to be titled. The Exceptions are Canoes – Kayaks- Inflatable vessels regardless of length. There is a $5.00 penalty charged on boats that are renewed after the renewal deadline. To transfer a boat into someone else’s name you must have a registration signed on the back by the seller or a print screen from the County it was last registered in, a Title if required, signed on the back by the seller and a Bill of Sale. Use tax will be collected on the sale price on a casual sale. Should you need a Duplicate Title, there is an application to be filled out with a fee of $10.00 and a 5-day waiting period. If you are sending your renewal by mail, please add an additional $.50 postage for each renewal. (See Chart for Fees)

Snowmobile, ATV & ORV Registrations:
Snowmobile, ATV’s & ORV’s are renewed every year. Snowmobile, ATV’s & ORV’s that are sold must have a Registration signed on the back by previous owner or a print screen from the County the machine was last registered in, Title signed on the back & a Bill of Sale signed by the previous owner. Effective 7/1/2009 sales tax will be collected on all casual sales for machines sold on or after 7/1/2009. Should you need a Duplicate Title, there is an application to be filled out with a fee of $10.50 and a 5-day waiting period.
